Robbie Burns Supper

Each January, the NWT Pipe Band organizes a supper in honour of Scottish poet Robbie Burns.  It is the undisputed highlight of the band's year and a welcome diversion from the -30°C to -40°C temperatures.

The evening features performances by the band, as well as Scottish highland dancing, Scottish country dancing, toasts to the poet and to the laddies and the lassies.  The menu includes traditional Scottish cuisine, such as haggis and turnips.
